MicroProbe Incorporated, a leading supplier of advanced probe cards to the semiconductor industry, announced today that it has been acquired by an investment group lead by Flywheel Ventures.

John Parizek, President of MicroProbe commented, "We are looking forward to drawing on the new investment group's expertise and financial strength to support our future plans."

Along with the acquisition of MicroProbe, the Flywheel-led group has also acquired Micromanipulator, a leader in analytical probing.
