MICROPROBE BROADENS SINGAPORE OPERATION TO INCLUDE FULL-SERVICE CAPABILITIES
SINGAPORE, July 17, 2012—In Singapore today, MicroProbe customers, partners and suppliers joined company executives at an open house to celebrate the expansion of MicroProbe’s operations in the region. Since 2006, MicroProbe, the world’s top provider of advanced SoC [System-on-Chip] probe cards has maintained a sales presence in Singapore. Now, with nearly double the floor space and a suite of advanced equipment, full-service capabilities will be offered from the same location. The move strengthens MicroProbe’s Asia presence, which also includes a manufacturing facility in China, as well as full-service operations in Taiwan and Korea. Moreover, with faster turnaround times, local customers can benefit even further from the wafer test efficiencies generated by MicroProbe’s products.

Hosting today’s event was MicroProbe’s Singapore Manager, Mark Toh. Vice President of Sales, Dave Browne and Vice President of Marketing, Amy Leong were also on hand. Together they provided an update on the company’s business in the region and shared details on new product innovations, including QiLin™, MicroProbe’s latest probe for Wafer-Level Packaging (WLP) applications. Also featured prominently was the technology breakthrough achieved by MicroProbe’s Vx™ vertical MEMS product: a Current-Carrying Capability (CCC) of >1 Amp per probe in 90µm pitch full-grid array configurations.
